Customizations

Thanks to the automated production process, Eurograte can create “custom-made” products. In addition to the colour of the grating, the “special processing” department meets many specific customer needs.

Design and structural calculations

As a leader in its sector, Eurograte uses advanced calculation methodologies in the field of composites and has enhanced its design office with the most advanced CAD software to create 3D models and finite element analysis (FEM). The technical team, specialized in the field of corrosion and composite materials, is able to calculate and design complete GRP structures, also providing detailed calculation reports.

Assembly and installation

In addition to design, Eurograte can assemble structures in its specialized workshop and ship the materials with drawings for an easy and quick on-site installation. Specialized staff can also install and test the system directly at the customer’s plant.

Processing and custom cutting

Eurograte offers a cut-to-measure and shaping service for grating panels to facilitate installation. Construction drawings are prepared by the technical department, and the cut panels can be marked to simplify the identification of modules during installation.

Computer Numerical Control Machine (5 axes)

Eurograte uses a CNC machining centre with innovative developments for the composite processing. This ensures effectiveness and efficiency in the processing of products up to 7 meters long. The use of diamond tools guarantees a high degree of surface finish, setting new industry standards. 

Waterjet

Eurograte uses two waterjet cutting systems that, through patented technology, can cut a wide variety of materials using and extremely high-pressure jet of water mixed with abrasive substance. This technology is noted for its accuracy and adaptability to various finishing grades based on customer requests. Waterjet cutting also helps the environment as both the water and abrasive used in the process are recyclable.

New generation horizontal panel saw

Eurograte uses an innovative, high-performance single blade saw that excels in quality and processing speed, ideal for urgent linear cutting requests of medium and small batches.

Orbital calibrator

Eurograte uses a calibrator for surface treatment and to achieve special finishes on products, ensuring maximum precision and quality. The large roller group allows for the processing of large formats with heavy material removal in minimal time, while the exclusive planetary unit provides finishes with excellent safety levels to prevent abrasion risks.

Technical team for on-site consulting and inspections

With extensive experience, Eurograte has highly competent staff availability to provide the best consulting for every request. The service also includes the possibility of conducting on-site inspections to evaluate the best solution in accordance with customer requirements.

Load testing

Eurograte uses a 20-ton press in its plant for mechanical testing of fiberglass products. This instrument is controlled and monitored by a computer system capable of recording loads and corresponding deflections and then providing the test results in the form of a stress-strain graph.

Eurograte’s role as an established manufacturer is especially evident in its ability to verify and control product characteristics in compliance with standards or specific customer requirements. Often, the customer is present during tests to ensure full awareness of products quality.
