The Eurograte High Quality vertical ladders, with rectangular-section rungs and a safety cage made of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), are essential for safely accessing places, especially in outdoor environments exposed to weather conditions.

Details of fixed vertical ladders

Thanks to the use of isophthalic polyester resins, Eurograte High Quality ladders are ideal for applications in corrosive environments or those requiring insulation. The high mechanical resistance and the anti-slip profile of the rungs make these vertical ladders suitable for intensive use.

The new Eurograte High Quality fixed vertical ladder complies with the UNI EN ISO 14122-4 standard, which defines its characteristics, requirements, and design methods to ensure user safety. Compliance is guaranteed by a test report issued by a recognized institute.

Eurograte HQ fixed vertical ladders can be supplied in the desired length (the standard provides for a single element up to 6 meters; longer lengths are available in two parts). Additionally, they can be supplied with or without fixing plates, with or without a safety cage.

Their lightweight facilitates transport and installation, features that, combined with the total absence of maintenance, make fiberglass vertical ladders more competitive than aluminium and stainless-steel ladders.

Distinctive features

Unlike traditional steel or aluminium ladders, composite material (GRP/fiberglass) vertical ladders are lightweight and durable and offer many advantages:

Corrosion resistance

GRP ladders are highly resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for aggressive environments or those exposed to moisture and chemicals.

Lightweight

GRP is a lightweight material that simplifies the transport, installation, and maintenance of ladders. This is particularly advantageous when working in confined spaces or on existing structures.

Electrical insulation

GRP ladders are electrically insulated and suitable for applications where the passage of electric current through the ladder must be avoided.

Maintenance-free

they do not require periodic painting or anti-corrosion treatments and they are resistant to weather conditions.

Ease of installation

they can be installed quickly, reducing installation time and costs.

Radio transparency

GRP is transparent to radio waves, making it suitable for applications where electromagnetic interference must be avoided.

Types and Standards

It is possible to receive the technical documentation by contacting Eurograte.

The reference standard for Eurograte fixed vertical ladders is UNI EN ISO 14122-4.

Eurograte products meet the numerous dimensional requirements and have successfully passed all the mechanical tests required for both the ladder and the safety cage.

While maintaining this standard and its requirements as a point of reference, each structure can be customized and tailored to the customer’s needs thanks to the expertise of Eurograte sales force and technical staff.
